In came 2022. That horrid creature....or so I thought
My husband and I separated in January and he went back to his home state. The Toddlersaurus Rex stayed with me.
Like so many others, the kids and I all got extremely sick for 2 weeks right after he left. I lost almost an entire month of productive work time.
My family was blindsided by unexpected serious illnesses, with no cures. May/June 2022 showed up as a ravine that I got pushed into with no climbing gear to climb back up.
I got lemons, so I planted their seeds and grew a TREE.
I published a collaboration book about women slaying their dragons and hit International Best Seller on day one. Now I am a voting board member of the International Domestic Violence organization, Safe in Harm's Way.
My husband and I are back together and HAPPIER and CLOSER than we have ever been. We worked hard to be a part of the 13% that actually reconcile and not divorce.
I grew and rebranded into an Independent Publishing company. Allowing me to add a children's book publishing arm. Little Badger Books, books to empower children ages 0-12.
Through this process, I was still able to grow my business. I hit my goal of $10k+ months.
I am now also the CEO of a NEW Corporation and brought on 2 partners. We have created a corporate product that has never been to market before.
